Project in detail · KOWA
From GEO audit to an integrated content workflow.
We started with an SEO and GEO audit for KOWA. We then agreed technical priorities with IT and built a multilingual content workflow. The process includes AI support, quality checks and product expert review.
The starting point
Visibility starts with clear information.
KOWA wanted its website to support discovery through AI assistants across European markets. The website needed clear descriptions of the brand, products and areas of expertise. It also needed to show how they relate to one another.
First, we needed to understand the current position and agree technical priorities. We also needed shared standards for new content. Existing product information provided the factual foundation.
The audit set the direction for website development and content production. Each stage built on the previous one. The resulting workflow became part of KOWA’s processes.
From analysis to implementation
Six stages. One connected process.
We first reviewed product information and search visibility. We then agreed requirements and content templates. These provided the basis for the AI workflow and expert review.
Assess SEO, GEO and the market together
We began with a detailed SEO and GEO audit. We checked how ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity presented KOWA and relevant product topics. We also reviewed the product range and the European market.
We identified available information, missing context and relationships that needed clearer explanations. We then mapped the products, people and topics the website needed to describe. These findings shaped the strategy.
Deliverable
A shared understanding of the starting point and the content and technical areas requiring attention.
Translate findings into technical priorities
We turned the findings into a framework and technical action plan. Together with IT, we set priorities and defined specific website tasks.
Tasks covered schema markup and structured data in JSON format. We also defined links between products, authors and other named subjects. IT and the content team agreed the order of work.
Deliverable
A technical action plan with clear priorities, agreed with IT.
Build quality requirements into content templates
We created a reusable template for new content. It combined product facts, named subjects, author details and structured data requirements in one working document.
The template gave writers and developers a shared starting point. Teams could use the same structure for new pages and carry the agreed requirements into each text.
Deliverable
A content template providing a shared foundation for editorial and technical work.
Develop a custom skill from established workflows
We tested several workflows and combined them into a custom skill for a large language model (LLM). The skill provides reusable instructions for content creation and checks. Supplied product information remains the reference for factual statements.
The process starts with an English master, followed by German and French versions. Each version must preserve product features, limits and technical meaning. Language checks are part of the production process.
Deliverable
A reusable AI-assisted workflow for multilingual content grounded in product information.
Connect product knowledge with quality assurance
The skill compares statements with the supplied product information. It flags conflicting or unsupported claims. Quality checks cover each language and compare the versions for consistency.
Open questions and conflicting information are recorded for product management. The record gives experts clear points to review. KOWA’s responsible staff approve the content and decide what to publish.
Deliverable
A quality and review process that makes unresolved product questions traceable for the relevant experts.
Make the workflow part of everyday work
We made the workflow part of KOWA’s processes. Content creation, language versions, quality checks and expert review became connected stages of work.
David led the work from the first strategy discussions through technical planning and implementation. He coordinated the team and product experts. The company received a process it could use in daily work.
Deliverable
An integrated content process combining technical foundations, reusable templates and expert oversight.
What the project established
Practical foundations for the work ahead.
The project established shared priorities, content templates and a multilingual workflow. Product experts review the content as part of that workflow.
Strategy and technical roadmap
An SEO/GEO audit, an entity framework and priorities agreed with IT for further website development.
Template and multilingual skill
A shared content structure and an AI-assisted workflow connecting product information with language versions.
Quality and accountability
Quality checks and a structured handover to product management, embedded in the company’s process.
Product expertise belongs inside the process.
The strategy sets priorities for the website and new content. Templates carry those requirements into daily production. AI supports the work, while product knowledge and expert approval guide what is published.
